Did you just ask me have things calmed down yet since I last posted? Hell no they HAVE NOT. We are in what I call a state of organized chaos. You see we have finally gone live with the debut release of Black Sequinned Bows And Champagne Nights. Yes. Yes. Yes. You can now buy your copy on both Amazon and BN.com.
The release of Jude E. McNamara’s novel has ratcheted up the excitement level ten notches at Two Judes Publishing.
While I’ve been busy getting the word out on Jude’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, (be sure to check out the pages and friend her), Jude and her sidekicks Lizzy and Ringer (remember her, the dead ringer for Margot Robbie) are still hung over from all night partying and crushing on the Captain (you’ll have to read the novel to catch up on him) at the Memorial Gala.
Jude’s been sticking her chest out all day over the fact that Riley Cook was the only woman in the room at the Memorial Gala (and I mean only) that got to dance with the Captain. Jude always did have plans for him despite the fact that Lizzy and Ringer strutted themselves in front of him more times than I can remember, vying for his attention. Lizzy was tossing her thick black curls over her shoulder every time she passed him, while Ringer was batting her long eyelashes at him at the bar.
Jude kept trying to convince them that the Captain only had eyes for Riley but she was frankly wasting her time. Thankfully as the night wore on, Lizzy and Ringer finally gave up, turning their cupid arrows elsewhere. It wasn’t too hard of a challenge distracting them at the Memorial Gala. Lizzy reminded Ringer that the ballroom was on hot guy overload and it was their mission in life to dance (which looked more like booty shaking) with every “officer and a gentleman” in the room. But those gals have long memories. They all three engaged in their usual catfight in the limo ride home. Lizzy and Ringer insisted it was Jude’s fault that the Captain had blinders on and that they needed a man of their own.
Jude accused them of “throwing shade”, but those two are some very stubborn women. Jude’s words have not sunk in with them yet. They want what they want, which now that I think about it doesn’t bode well for me. The next time I power up the laptop to get my next story out, I expect Jude to hawk me like an antagonist on crack. No doubt she’ll be threatening me to give her a new man to quell her and her sidekick’s hot hero fix.
It’s no telling how this story is going to end. But I can assure you that you’ll want to stay tuned. So sign up now for the newsletter below, so that you don’t miss out on the latest news on Jude’s new releases, giveaways, and all the shenanigans going on with Jude and her sidekicks Lizzy and Ringer.
Now, more champagne for the captain stalker gals’ hangovers. Add some orange juice and bite the dog that bit you. Mimosa time ladies!
XOXO
